I am going to New York for the first time in September and I want to stay as central as possible. I have been told there is a YMCA in downtown NY, please can someone tell me the address of this one?
Also are you able to get a twin room?

I think possibly you are referring to the Vanderbilt YMCA which is on 47th (I think). If you repost this question onto the New York City Forum you should get a better response from people more in the know than me though :)
