I posted in the wrong room last night but a wonderful person helped me anyway...and now i%26#39;m in the right room...I%26#39;m going to be visiting silver creek and staying at the pinewoods cottage in august,i want to know what there is to do as far as outdoors stuff,hiking,horeback riding,caves,caverns,up to 1/2 hr ride,dont want to drive around the whole trip,good casual restaurants also needed so if anyone can give me info i would appreciate it,Thanks so much,i%26#39;m gonna leave early the day of check in so we can do stuff along the way,so feel free w/ any info..Thanks Tressa

Hi Tressa......long time no see...... : - )

There is plenty to do for the outdoors person here in Chautauqua County. We do have horseback riding and i still think you would enjoy the Panama Rocks ......it is hiking, caves and caverns all in one place!

There are also plenty of good places to eat.....Primo%26#39;s and the Colony come to mind.

I am assuming you will be coming off the I-90 into Silver Creek and then turning left onto Alleghany Road. You will pass both Primo%26#39;s and the Colony. Tom%26#39;s on the corner is a good place for breakfast. The Hideaway, which is located in Silver Creek right on Lake Erie,is excellent, however, I think a bit more on the pricey side.

Since you have a whole month to plan, I will try to find you some websites and e-mail addresses to explore.
