Please can someone help us. We booked a room in Anco Studios on the second floor facing the street, has anyone seen the room? We have been given good rates of $165. 00 per night; for the location we thought this was a bargain.

I am also staying at Anco Studios. I have seen mixed reviews, but it seems as if it is in a great neighborhood. When are you going to be there? I will be there in October, so if I am there first I will let you know. I wish I knew someone in NY, since they will let you have someone check it out for you.

I%26#39;ve read everything on this post. There are two fairly good reviews and one not so good review. I was hoping for more information from someone. Hotel reviews are so subjective. What might be a dump for one person is not necessarily so for another. We have stayed in four star hotels and also stayed in bungallows that have no indoor plumbing and love them both for different reasons.
It%26#39;s good to get as many comments as possible. Especially when you are travelling across the country and don%26#39;t want to be disappointed.
We will be there from October the 12th untill the 19th. At this moment in time we are just keeping an open mind as the location is so good. Anyway we do not plan to stay in the apartment for long during our stay. This is our fourth time in New York, last year we stayed on the Upper West Side in the Milburn. Just wanted to try the upper east side for a change.
We get there on the 19th of October, so we will be checking in as you are checking out. See you then!
