Introducing Teens to NYC

We will be in NYC for 4 nights, 5 days. Want to stay in good location with a room large enough for 2 adults, 2 big teens!

1) Suite hotel or regular hotel suggestions with good location?

2) For clean, safe, interesting, good locale, do we stick with 3 star+?

3) Stupid question, but could we hope for a pool or fitness facilities at 3 star?

Introducing Teens to NYC

Hi llo56,

We returned from our first trip to NYC two weeks ago and had a wonderful time. We stayed at the Affinia Dumont and absolutely loved it! Everything was perfect...we had a huge room on the 32nd floor with unbelievable views. All rooms have a kitchen which we found great for a quick breakfast and snacks. There%26#39;s a fitness center on the 2nd floor, and all staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely clean and in an excellent neighborhood. We were in easy walking distance of the subway, Macy%26#39;s, and the Empire State Building. There are restaurants, groceries, and drug stores close by.

My 14 year old son loved everything about the city. I hope you have a wonderful trip.

Introducing Teens to NYC

We stayed at the Affinia 50 recently. Perfect for families. Big closets, kitchens, etc.

If you take them to a show, WICKED, WICKED, WICKED. This is the show for teens who are being introduced to Broadway. Even the partial view, cheaper seats on E-Bay would work. I%26#39;ve been to tons of shows over the years and sat in great, center ochestra seats. I sat in a partial view seat to Wicked in March. I bought it on e-Bay for $65. I was not disappointed. It was an awesome show!! Your teens would love it.
