JFK airport to Flatbush

What is the best way to get from JFK airport to Flatbush? As there are four of us plus luggage, would we be better to hire a limousine?

A car service would probably be the best choice.

Flatbush is a large neighborhood. Where in Flatbush are you going? (And be aware that Flatbush Avenue is for the most part NOT in Flatbush -- Flatbush Avenue is the old --as in 1600%26#39;s-- ';road to Flatbush'; through the hills from the village of Brooklyn.)

Going to Argyle Road. I believe it%26#39;s 3 blocks to Newkirk Ave Station. If it%26#39;s too complicated getting a train, I think we might be best to hire a stretch limo or minivan.

Depending on how much luggage you have, you might be able to manage with a taxi. Otherwise, hire a car service and ask for a vehicle big enough.

A train would simply be out of the question for travelling to the station you want. That line is the old BMT Brighton line (now the B and Q trains), while the subways that service JFK%26#39;s AirTrain terminals are the E and the A, which simply do not connect with the B and Q anywhere convenient. You wold have to go all the way into Manhattan on the A or E to West 4th Street, and then change there for the B heading allt he way BACK out to Brookllyn -- which will take forever. The B will be fine for getting into town while you are here, but it is truly useless for an easy airport connection.

Thanks GreenWhiteBlue for this info. That%26#39;s exactly what we were wondering - whether we would have to go in and out again. Very helpful.
